Payment and Refund Policy
Last updated: 16 September 2026
Scope of the Policy
This Payment and Refund Policy applies to all courses and related services offered by premierlyvo through its website. The courses focus on professional video operation, live signal management, content distribution, camera work and creating reliable high-quality feeds for news programs and television broadcasting. It covers purchases of digital course materials, subscriptions to training modules, live workshops and any associated digital downloads or access credentials. The policy governs transactions made by customers in the United Kingdom and explains how payments are handled, when contracts are formed and the circumstances under which refunds may be granted. It does not cover third-party platforms or resellers unless explicitly stated in the purchase confirmation.
Prices, Currencies, Taxes and Additional Charges
All prices are displayed in British pounds sterling. Where applicable value added tax at the prevailing UK rate is included in the advertised price and shown separately on the checkout screen. No additional charges apply for standard digital delivery. If a customer requests an invoice or printed certificate an administrative fee may be added and disclosed before payment is completed. Prices may change from time to time but any increase will not affect orders already confirmed.
Accepted Payment Methods, Authorisation and Security
premierlyvo accepts major credit and debit cards, PayPal and bank transfers for course purchases. Payment is authorised at the time of order placement. All card transactions are processed through secure third-party gateways that comply with PCI DSS standards. premierlyvo does not store full card details. Customers receive an email confirmation once payment has cleared.
Order Confirmation and Contract Formation
A binding contract is formed when premierlyvo sends a written confirmation email after successful payment. Until that point the customer may cancel without penalty. The confirmation includes course access instructions, the start date if applicable and a copy of this policy.
Cancellation Rights and Periods
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations customers have a 14-day cooling-off period from the date of purchase for distance contracts. This right is lost once the customer begins to access or download digital course content. For live workshops cancellation must be received at least seven days before the scheduled date to qualify for a full refund minus any non-refundable venue costs.
Refund Eligibility, Exclusions and Non-Refundable Items
Refunds are available within the cooling-off period provided no substantial content has been accessed. After the period refunds are granted only in cases of technical failure preventing access, duplicate charges or proven non-delivery. Course materials that have been downloaded or streamed are generally non-refundable. Promotional or heavily discounted bundles may carry additional restrictions stated at purchase.
Step-by-Step Procedure to Request a Refund
To request a refund the customer must email [email protected] with the order number, date of purchase and reason for the request. Supporting evidence such as screenshots of access errors should be attached. Requests must be made within the applicable time limits.
Inspection, Approval, Rejection and Notification
premierlyvo will acknowledge receipt of the request within two working days and complete an internal review within ten working days. The customer is notified by email of the decision. If approved, a refund reference number is provided. If rejected, a clear explanation and any appeal options are supplied.
Refund Method, Processing Time and Receipt of Funds
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method. Processing typically takes five to ten working days after approval, although bank transfer refunds may take up to fourteen days to appear. Customers receive a confirmation email once the refund has been issued.
Special Rules for Digital Content, Subscriptions and Promotional Offers
Digital courses are treated as digital content under UK law. Access begins immediately upon confirmation, which limits cancellation rights once streaming or downloading commences. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. Promotional offers are subject to the terms displayed at purchase and are usually non-refundable after redemption.
Failed Payments, Duplicate Charges, Chargebacks and Suspected Fraud
Failed payments must be resolved within seven days or the order will be cancelled. Duplicate charges are investigated and refunded automatically. Chargebacks are treated as refund requests but may incur an administration fee if found to be without merit. Suspected fraudulent activity leads to immediate account suspension and reporting to relevant authorities.
Mandatory Consumer Rights
Nothing in this policy affects statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, the Consumer Contracts Regulations or UK GDPR. Customers retain the right to claim for faulty digital content or services not provided with reasonable care and skill. These rights cannot be excluded by contract.
